Who is responsible?
Biz Tech Services (Douala, Cameroon) is the controller for user account data and for the operation of the Service.
The special case of tenant records: when a landlord registers a tenant in Bailor Pro (name, phone, lease, payments), that landlord is the controller of that processing; Biz Tech Services acts as a processor and uses this data only to provide the Service.
Data we collect
Account data: first and last name or company name, phone, e-mail, password (hashed), PIN code (hashed), language.
Rental management data: properties, leases, rents, charges, invoices, recorded payments (amount, date, method), generated documents (agreements, receipts, rent receipts), signatures affixed to agreements.
Technical data: connected devices (model, notification identifier), IP address, logs of sign-ins and sensitive actions (timestamp, IP, browser) for security and audit purposes.
Supporting documents possibly provided: profile photo, tenant identity document (stored privately, accessible only to the landlord concerned).

We do not use your data for advertising purposes and we do not sell it to anyone.
Who is the data shared with?
Only with the providers needed to operate the Service:
- Mobile money payment operators (to execute payments);
- Notification channels: e-mail, SMS and WhatsApp Business (Meta) delivery providers — only the recipient’s number and the message content pass through;
- The Service’s host;
- Authorities, only upon a valid legal request.
Each provider is contractually bound to confidentiality and security.
What the tenant sees / what the landlord sees
- The tenant sees their leases, invoices, payments and documents. They never see the landlord’s private notes or internal management information.
- The landlord sees the information in the tenant records they created and the payment history on their own properties — never anything relating to other landlords.
Retention periods
- Active account: for the entire period of use.
- After account closure: data is deactivated and then deleted within 12 mois, except for documents and accounting entries with evidentiary value, which are kept for 10 ans in accordance with legal obligations.
- Security logs: 12 mois.
Security
Passwords and PINs hashed with modern algorithms (argon2), single-use OTP codes hashed and expiring, encrypted communications (TLS), access compartmentalised by profile and by role, logging of sensitive actions, remote session revocation (“sign out everywhere”).
No system is infallible: in the event of a data breach likely to affect you, we will inform you as soon as possible along with the measures taken.
Your rights
You have the rights of access, rectification, deletion, objection and portability over your data, within the limits of legal retention obligations. To exercise them: hello@bailor.app (response within 30 days). If you are a tenant and the request concerns data entered by your landlord, we will direct you to them and assist them in handling your request.
Minors
The Service is not intended for minors.
Changes
Any substantial change to this policy is notified in the application before it takes effect. The date of the last update appears at the top of the page.
